    Quickly becoming my favorite

For some reason the blue Mylar produces in a wide array of water colors. If I can't get bit on a normal color for me I tie on the blue and have success. Both lakes I fished this week were turned over Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Spring was tough on my jig box

And real tough on my runners. Looks like I need to pour and paint some chart, orange, blacks and white ASAP. Got a package from crazy angler with some new body colors. I think these are going to be great late summer and fall patterns. Tied up at least five of each after work tonight. Sent...

    They picked the colors

Told the girls that I needed jigs for some upcoming trips. They picked colors for me after I got the main color done. Then they wanted to put eyes on them all. They did a fine job and picked one combo that I never thought of but I really like Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    An interesting spring

Along with crappie and whites I have been catching some bonus fish. Had one gar at 40" at the boat got the jig out of his chompers and he flopped off the pliers. The sucker on a jig was a first for me. At this point I need a common carp and drum to complete the Missouri Native Trash Fish GRAND...

    After a long hiatus

I tied some jigs. Gave up on it last year when I did 10 months of home remodel and got my decoy business going. Tied up some jigs last week and forgot that I enjoyed it. Hope to keep on tying and fishing this year Tom

    first runs

I think they will work 1/64th on a #8 hook. I am sure they are a copy of somebodies pattern or name I am just using what I have and think a gill might hammer. Am thinking under a float and pulled over some beds it should get hit. That or long poled around rocks for some baitfish for flathead lines.
