Did this today. 1/16 Walleye head, White Pearl pp. Holographic 3D eyes (a little to big). The tail is Grey Dun marabou, flanked by barred Mallard flank feathers and a piece of red Krystal Flash. Chenille is "Baitfish" New Age Chenille from CAT.

I've done a few of these. Intended for Striped Bass when I can catch them feeding on top in my river.

I picked up a little White Satin at Hobby Lobby last month. TODAY, I finally got around to using some. First impression: I like it! It reminds me of Midge Flash, but more flexible. I've got some jigs tied up, hopefully I'll get to do some RnD testing here soon.

Painted these up for Swap #28. White base coat, cured, reheated, then a White Pearl top coat. Still have a few pits in the paint, but almost all of them are in the eyes, which will be covered up. Of course, I just realized when I bought the eyes for these jigs, I only bought 20 eyes. Need more!

I tied these almost a year ago. Used size 12, 3xl curved-shank hooks for them. The orange one is deer hair, while the grey one is actually Caribou. The grey version is as close to the classic as I can get, and man, those things catch fish! I've tied a couple dozen of them and swapped them...

JungleJim, your critique is requested! Shad Dart head, courtesy LedHed. 1/32 tube jig head. Both jigs were powder painted with White Pearl. Man, that stuff was DENSE! I cut it with equal parts 200% Clear from Rosey's. Still kind of heavy.

I got a pound of 200% clear from Rosey's last week. I haven't done anything with it yet. What kind of ratio do I need to mix if I want to stretch out and lighten up some Harbor Freight PP? Also, if I want to do a Candy color, how much clear should I add to the solid color?
