Yep a bit noisey. But doesn't take too long to dip the lures, can stand it for that. Think about it, there are probably ways that dont make much noise. Just trying on the cheap, using stuff around the shop. Arne.

Having trouble with some of the colors not working quite right out of the fluid bed. Have red about using a vibrating fluid bed to help such problems. Have a cheap workmate bench knockoff. Used the factory pegs that came with it to hold the fluid bed cups. Dug out my vibrating palm sander...

Mine is pot and ladle too, but it only has the preset heat setting. Arne.

What temp. do you have to get it to melt? Will the same pots we use for lead get hot enough to use them? Just curious.

cut a brush down and dotted some with my acrilic air brush paint. Came out ok, baked them for a few minutes afterwards will see how the hold up when the weather warms up. And @Hawnjigs this is mostly for me. Really can"t imagine it really makes much difference to the fish. But as it is cold...

Used a fine brush and air brush paint. Have to pick up some clear nail polish to cover them. Will look and see if I can find the thread about Attica's tool he made. Had to be careful how I worded that. LOL, Arne.

Might have to go that route, jig man. Was just trying to get by with what I have. So far have made a mess of a few of them, but the fish wont care. Arne.

Got my jigs poured, coat of powder coat. Look pretty nice, trying to put a paint of a different color on for eyes. Tried cut down paint brush, full sized brush before I cut it down. Paint brush handle, file handle, pencil, none of which give a decent dot. What do you folks use? Thanks, Arne.

@Hawnjigs so far blizzard has not made it here. Actually supposed to quit before it gets here. We will see, winds feel kinda like it except they are still from the south. Nasty cold drizzly yesterday came out sunny for a bit today but back to clouds and big winds. Glad you caught a few...
