Palmer Chenille from J Stockard(light blue)

Forget to show this color. Jig is a taper 1/16 with #4 Mustad fine wire (to fine for me). I clear coat head then tap while warm green candy over top. I like this medium light blue chenille. Duck flank added for contrast and tail action.

Nice ties. Palmer chenille is one of my favorite materials since it came out a couple years ago, almost quit using hackle to tie buggers. Been tying it under the duck feathers in my float n fly jigs to add bulk and flash. All three sizes have their places with me.

Thanks Guys....I am excited for RnD when open water gets here.......report is we are up to 6" inches of ice but now the goose hunting at my club is getting good. Want to load up some goose feathers and breast meat!
