1/32 tube jighead. Chartreuse powder paint on the head. "Green Goblin" new age chenille body. The tail is blue over chartreuse marabou, mottled mallard body feathers for "cheeks", and a piece of red Krystal Flash.

I can see this being a good color combo in the Summer, when the algae has a tint in the water.

I'm going to call this one a "Psychodelic Chicken". 1/32 tube jig, chartreuse powder paint (not a good coat). "Clown" new age chenille. Tail is Fluorescent pink over chartreuse marabou, with mottled mallard body feather "cheeks", and a piece of red Krystal Flash.

I ordered this chenille thinking it would go well with the Electric Chicken color scheme of pink/chartreuse. Unfortunately, the chenille is a mix of chartreuse and orange. I may have to tie a few up with Fluorescent orange marabou over Chartreuse. Thanks to a friend of mine, I have plenty of that color :)

They look great as they are. I think the darker tail might do better in my waters, but who knows what the fish think till it is tied on the end of your line. The Clown chenille is a good one. Heck, just a simple bright chart/orange has VERY good days for me. The red flash is a bonus.

Cool tyes. Might want to try slightly flattening the tube jig in a vise - just enough to stick a 3mm eyes on. Or maybe just the front part of the jig. Our friend Sam has a 2.5mm eyes now that would work too. Frog eyes would be awesome.......

Thanks all!

LedHed, I've got some 1/16 walleye heads with recessed eyes. I'll switch to those when I REALLY want to make it pop. I only did a couple each with the tube heads. I've got about a hundred of those, so I use them when I'm wanting to play around a bit.

Barefoot, that's the #3 size.
