A new one (updated)

Tied up a few of these today. Head is a Holo Yellow nail polish, white maribou tail with chart Krystal Flash and Cabela's Speckled Tinsel Chenille, color is lt. olive pearl. I like the color combo..how about you guys?

I like this one too. It would be a crappie getter at my local reservoir.

Have been painting a few heads with some odd nail polish colors. This is one of the colors that I thought to be a good crappie color..called "Melon Green"..

That's a great looking jig,really like the chub head design.I have that head design in several sizes and they are killers.

Great jigs fox! The chub has my vote too!

You can add eyes to the round head as well just put the head in a smooth jaw vice flatten the sides a little. It will go flat enough to add an eye and not loosen the head. Be gentle.

Great tip toadfrog ! I'll have to give that a try...thanks! Hummm, I wonder if you could smooth the jaws on an old pair of parallel pliers and use those instead of a vise?

Yes it is Hawn...done with the vise grips. I adjust the grips, so that I get the same pressure each time.

Didn't take long to get back into the saddle - oldfox. Excellent work with the paint and the tyes.
