A pink jig I did last night

This is probably a 1/80th jig, on a Matzuo Sickle hook, courtesy of our friend LedHed. Tail is pink marabou under duck flank feathers, red krystal flash, and some kind of pink chenille I found in my chenille bag.

It's going swimming Wednesday. We'll see how the local Crappie like it.

Excellent tye. Allen you might want to check the stuff I sent you with a black light. The pink head should be glow in the dark.

LedHed, you weren't kidding! I grabbed my headlamp (white LEDs and UV LEDs) and the bags of jigheads. I "charged" the heads with white light for a few seconds, then went into the bathroom. Sure enough, they glowed, as did the eyes on the Auto jig. I hit them with some UV light, and they all really glowed!

I took it out to one of my home lakes for a swim. I caught 5 typical stunted Crappie, and missed a 6th. Went over to my other home lake (where they stock Trout), and fished over a couple brushpiles. I had a couple quick pulls. It could have been brush, could have been fish; not sure which. I may have to go get some waxworms or mealworms and try it again.
