Finally got around to adding some hair and painted blades to these. The blades are painted mostly with candy colors to let some of the nickle plate show through. The orange bait i dipped the blade in gold candy to get the gold blade.

ORIGINAL POST

Down in the dungeon this evening relaxing. Ended up only painting 3 spinner baits....... which are a super rare commodity since i believe the caster of this spinner sold his mold. Yikes!!! Anyway.... these are maybe around 1/8th oz in weight and painted up in known fish catching colors for my water. Hopefully dress them (cure them 1st of course) in some rabbit tail and maybe silicone skirts. Then add a spinner. Heavy enough hoks to maybe throw them at 'eyes this fall. Will update as i progress on these. Don't have many left. :-/

Couple of these 'flips' may or may not have been consumed during my dungeon time. These are my NEW favorite seasonal fall brew. Lots of citrus in these which i normally do not lean towards....... but dang do these have a hard bite to back it up.

Thanks for all the positive comments. Need to get a few wet before the bass get too cold to wanna mess with them.

RonDon - Thinkin' i lost the return address...... hmmm. :)

Pup - That little knife is my favorite for fine work clearing paint from hook legs and eyes. Have another grunt work knife (china made - maxam? maxim?) for chipping paint off hemos and other work. The point is broke on that one and has never held an edge.
