Kdog don't be afraid to over paint a head. I have been doing that with some of my odd ball stuff and am happy with how they turned out. Dark colors over white works best but the lighter colors will do fine. I even had some that turned out with a color the was unique. Will see how those dogs hunt in the next few weeks.

Appreciate the input, I have and do overpaint but most of those heads were epoxy coated after eyes attached. I have no problems overcoating and yes, you can get some very unique effects, I have also found sometimes it is best to cure a white prime coat before adding a second coat. For me it is usually easier to start from scratch plus I do not like the smell of buring powder coat so I will experiment with the heads or give them away rather than make them into something else.
