... Salty fish will eat chicken? Electric Chicken that is. This is the only feader jig I tied up for the trip. The rest are buck-tail...

1/2 oz. white head
twin spins
pank and chart bou
chart crystal flash
holo tinsel body

I wrapped the tail material and secured in place with head cement. Then I spun on the body materiel and secured with two coats of Sally's. Not sure how well it will hold up, but maybe it will catch one. Hope ya'll like it....

And a sneak peak of the rod wtex is building for me. He finished the thread work tonight. This is the part of the butt wrap and the stripper guide. It has not been finished yet...

Hey thanks for the comments guys, I appreciate it. Not a sickle, but not heavy wire either. Maybe it'll stand up to a couple trout..... maybe!

Ok Bucko, I'll let ya know how it works... If I don't lose it first LOL.. The rod is built on a Stcroix Medium heavy boat-rod blank 7 footer, heavy boat stainless SIC fuji guides acid wrapped, and aluminum alps reel seat . He put the first coat of finish on it last night. I'll try to get some pichers of her before she gets slimmed.

Yea and he layed em down perfect. Got a video of it spinning and its flawless.. Not sure how many spools of thread it took, but when he finished there were 5 turns of thread left on the last spool after the finale guide. Thats cutting it purdy close. Just saw a picher after the second coat... WOW!
