Couple of Float-n-flies

View attachment 5It's getting close to cork throwing time . I fish a premier spotted bass lake. Almost as good as Dale Hollow. But no smallies only big spots. 5+ common. I did my interpretation of a thread fin. And then something off the wall spots love wild colors

Try this for me and then let me know what you think after you fish it . Put a dot on a hackle feather then run it down the side like a bleeder line . I was fishing for sand bass doing OK . then I lost the jig put on one like that . I would have sworn it would not make a bit of difference . Got a lot more hits .Got made fun of too cause it was my unks tie . Told me I was @#$$# near 60 yrs old and he was still having to teach me .

Very clean n sweet! I love that style you n pup tie. I'm tempted to by some craft hair n give it a go for sacs.

Found those early on through Mustad USA guy. Can't remember his name. Harry something. Anyway fnf jigs are tiny this #4 has a wider bite than #2 also lite wire hook has to have a edge. Sharp but almost all my fish I hook. The hook penetrates through the fishes mouth and re-sticks somewhere on the outside! Don't loose many. Love the performance !
