Was able to get ahold of a few jig heads from Helianthus's homemade mold. I like it. Thought it was gon be really heavy from the pics I had seen but its not even 1/8 and the flatness of the head makes me think it'll cut the water nicely on semi deep pendulum pitching. Says its 1/15 but my tiny brain doesn't work outside of the tape measure increments and 32nds and 64ths. It's gotta be close to 3/32 though.
Best part is all if the surface area for painting w/o being ginormous in weight.
Looking forward to seeing how it treats the river.

It'll work just fine 3/32 is a good go between weight for the river . I use a lot of 3/32 for the Walleye put the jig in the strike zone without falling to fast . Nice looking tie as well . Can't fish playing on the puter:p

Reminds me of a smaller version of a flathead jig. If they work anything like a flathead it'll be a killer. I tie big flathead jigs for walleye on the mississppi river for guys. Good looking head and tie.

Ty Ty everyone. I really only use marabou but if someone thinks there might be a better neck tail combo that'd be good, I'd appreciate the heads up. Lately, the only fish I've found has been up close n personal to lay downs. I pretty much use a light weight long pole exclusively but've been thinking of breaking out the UL 6fter and casting…maybe let Pistol teach me.

Here's some I did after work today. Hope to try em tomorrow if I can renew license online tonight.

Wow! You made them look better than I could even dream up! I'm honored. 1/32 is 0.9375 of a gram. The jig weighs 2 grams. 1/16 is 1.875 grams. If it helps.

The pink is awesome. Your recent ones with lace sure seem to look killer and could always try rabbit. Really can't wait for the report tomor, just watch out for the thunderstorms!
