Absolutely sharp ties and a nicely demonstrated procedure!

I bet that the thread has good action in the water in addition to its glow. Eyelash yarns will have similar action to thread. Hmmm...I wonder if... :)

From head to tail, those are killer.I can't get my heads to glow like that. Where can I find some of the glow wig hair? It looks a lot finer than the glow flashabou that I use. I bought my glow chenille on ebay a few years ago. It's more expensive than regular chenilles. I bought 3 colors of size 3 for $36 per skein. I still have quite a bit left if someone wants a sample to try out in white, yellow and orange. I know there are a few online stores that carried it. I think Bob Marriot's sells glow chenille. It has it's uses, mainly deep or dirty water or night fishing.

Talk to JJ1 for the chenille – seems to be a real good brand

SV
No worries – did you check out the scissors? Good for feathering hair ends

JSC, Heather, hunter7711, and Radtexan
Thnx for the compliments

Thnx Pup – think the longer it soaks in the water the more action it will get. Used a small dubbing needle on these

JJ1
I have a bunch of the wig hair – can swap for more chenille. Got the wig off of eBay – way too expensive

Those are great . Doubt my fingers are still nimble enough to do production on lures that small . Plus I may need a 500X magnifier.

Those are sharp! Gave me a few ideas. I never wouldve thought to use thread as a tail material. Do the jigs need to be"charged"?

Thnx tf – figure I have a few more years - at 1.75 wit the readers

You can use all kinds of threads (embroidery, floss, yarn, silks, etc.) for tailing. For these I took 2 thread strands ~12”, doubled them, and cut them in half. Repeat that step 3 times before lashing the threads to the jig.

All the phosphorus materials have to be charged. Use a black light for indoor photos.
I like this little charger for fishing – got this off of eBay - cheap.

Check out Fly Tyers Dungeon – they have glow in the dark hair - gotta be better than the glow wig. I haven’t tried it – think CCJ posted up the link for the site – very cool – lots of stuff.

Got the glow thread off of eBay – 4 pk./different colors – wasn’t that expensive. You got to use a big bobbin – saltwater size.

Had 30 mins of light after work, an ultralight, slip cork, a gravel pit bank and one of your jigs. Not much but they'll eat. One at the bottom was a hair short of 14". Thanks Sonny.
