After fishing the tailgunners for two trips they earned their own private box dedicated to them. This morning, with it storming out I had a thought of combining my favorite jig,the flash duck with my new favorite the tailgunner and this is what I came up with. First pic is before blades were added. I'm starting to tie the roller swivels in about 1/3 the way down the bend of the sickles so the swivel extends out further and I can tie my ducks the way I normally do. I can't wait to give this combination a try. Second pic jigs weigh 1/16 and last weigh 1/24 including blades.

Love 'em Jungle. I like the blade being nestled right at the end of the feathers. Maybe it will resemble a fleeing baitfish!

Yep, the duck-gunners look terrific -outstanding tying job! The 1/24 ozers seem just the right size, and ya have em just in time for the big Fall feed !

Thanks everyone.Unfortunately,I won't get to try them until Thursday. I'm babysitting my grandaughter the next three days. This morning I made one complete with pictures and instructions so I plan on doing a tutorial late this afternoon and evening if all goes well. Over 20 pics and step by step instruction so it might be divided into 3-4 parts. They are not as hard to do as it sounds. You can tie anything you want by applying certain steps and throwing out other steps. Took over an hour to tie and write it all out. On the tailspin thread I added a couple pics of other ties that I made yesterday.

Thanks Led.After seeing your past tutorials I always wanted to do one and figured it's time. I just posted the first part, the swivel installation.
