That is really cool!!! Around here the guys call that a "boolie" and it looks like yours is a winner too!! Great job!!!

Looks really good - only thing I'd change and this from the guys I learned from - a little less on the body and give it more space for the propellor.

Boolie! That's it, I couldn't think of it earlier. Thanks for the tip Fatman, I got carried away on that one for sure. I did like tying the thread around the tail instead, it was easier to wrap. That was the best one outta my first 10. Maybe I'm weird but I had to drag a few experiments around the tub to check them out. I think my wife is used to it because she just shook her head and walked by. Lol

You can usually just blow on them to check if they'll spin but the tub would be better!! It should work fine - but as the guys told me if it gets say any grass in it would make it hard to clean and get going again. Glad you're having fun with them!!!

Looks good. My wife is use to me testing jigs in the tube, she does get pissed when I try to test em when she is in the tube ???
