These are a little heavier than 1/16,weigh in at .075.They are very well balanced, actually stand up. Hackle tails, palmer chenille wrapped over chenille, they eyes were painted using acrylic paint pens, lot less smell than vinyl jig paint.View attachment 6View attachment 7View attachment 8

I think we are all artists. I've gotten many great ideas from the people here and just go from there. Still trying for a perfect jig but will never make it,new ideas keep the fire burning.I have a closet full of jigs already but will never get tired of making them.

I painted these heads months ago and they sat until it came to me how to tie these and what materials to use. Then I put the thread to them. This mold was originally designed for spinners and I can pour them with a #12 crane swivel. One of my answers to the roadrunner. Or like in these just pour without the crane and trim a small sprue where the swivel would go off with a knife. The other side of this mold has the 1/16 chub that I can do the same thing. It's like having four molds for the price of one. It's one of 8 OR 9 molds that Robert did for me.

JJ I saw you mention in the other thread your pics are too big with your Iphone..600x800 or there abouts is just about right for forum use...If your interested the only thing they might need is some cropping..

irfanview.com is an easy and free photo tool..just a couple of clicks makes a big difference..

Thanks Rad.It wasn't the iPHONE but the two waterproof cameras I bought that I have problems with. I'll try that link you posted, pics do look better and aren't as big.Hopefully work with the waterproof camera pics too. They take great underwater pics and are waterproof to depths of 30 feet.

Those are phenomenal! The blue/chart ones really pop - all are excellent but those B/C's are gonna have me painting and tying. :)

I get the palmer chenille from crazy. Stuff is easy to work with. This is the small size. The larger medium size he special orders for me. That makes great tails. Thanks for your comments everyone.
