Badger and Boar Hair....

What a combo !!!...One is like silk and the other is worse than wire !!..My friend asked me to tie some crappie jigs for him..so here is a portion of the jigs I ended up with...no tellin' how they will work !!..can't wait for him to try then out !!...

The boar hair was the long bristles from the boars back..almost four inches long..and tough as a boot !!..

They look good Mary Lou. You could probably use the boar hair as a weedguard.

Nice jigs. I have not tried the Badger but plan to. I have been around some boar hair and don't care to work with it, LOL it is tough.

ML, I think you've created some "bullet proof" jigs in those! They look great & many fish like to mouth a combo of hard & soft ! I can see the antelope hair that you supplied is giving a new ruggedness & more complete appearance to my Boolie jigs ;these slightly tougher fibers give a fin look & feel that gamefish want to clamp down on harder!

I love em !!! curious what the fish think let us know how they fish.
