A FEW RECENT JIG TIES

These are a few of the baits I've been tying for my upcoming trip to California. Hopefully, those big gills out there will like these as well. Heading out there in 10 days. I can't wait.

Thanks everyone. Len, the props are small and the coneheads are labeled 4mm. I bought them off ebay from Wholesale Fly Company. I bought a 200 piece assortment,50 black,50 brass,50 gold and 50 nickle for around $15.00. Smallest cones I could find. Hooks are #4 and #6 Owner's along with some #6 sickles. I'm trying to limit myself to only four boxes of jigs,anymore and the decision of what to use will be too hard. Last year I forgot the camera. Still got some pics. This year the camera is going in the suitcase a few days early just so it isn't left behind. I'll take plenty of pics and hopefully smack a big one.

Have to agree with Pup those are fish candy for sure. Nice ties good job always enjoy seeing pics of the flash ducks. One of the great patterns that have become one of my favorites since you introduced them.

I want one of those 2lb gills,we'll have to give that spot a try. What color was he using and how deep?
