I too have been catching more fish on more natural patterns. This was yesterdays top producer. I only caught 10 crappie total but 9 of them were on this one. And I had 6 to 8 jigs out most of the time. I did lose one of these to a very large fish. It peeled line from the moment I set the hook to the time it emptied my spool! The fish made a beeline for the channel and I couldnt weave the boat through the stumpline in time to chase it. I kept looking at the spool thinking surely this thing is going to stop. Well I was wrong! I think it was either a very large drum or a big cat. The jig is 1/8 round with 4mm eye sockets.

Naturals have been fantastic for me as well this year.Love the hackle in the tail RD. If Flat says a baits a smoker you know it's a good un. S&P is the color chenille for me this year.

Nah its suppose to look but I see the bluish tint now that you mention. The head is metallic silver on top and white bottom.
