Display Popper

Made a couple of poppers that I'm going to place in a display box. Spent a lot of time over the last week on these working with small feathers and a lot of patience. One is based on a white head and the other on a yellow head. Hooks are size 10

The heads are the cupped hard foam popper bodies. Spent close to an hour per body filing them down to make them smooth.

They deserve to be on display !!!! Very nice.

LOL, lets just say I wouldn't want to do a lot of them at once I seen some that a guy made on FAOL where he used the feathers to cover all of the head and had to try making some. I used small Ringneck body feathers on the head and my eyes are not up to doing many of em.

Lookin Good .... with that much work I would have real mixed feelins about fish em or display em.

Know exactly nothing about them, but man, they look intricate and detailed as they come. Beautiful work.

Fatman, those spawn hair flies are simply amazing!!

That tying method eludes me!!!!!!!!! I try and try and they just bite!!!!!!! Trying to get my local shop to give a class!!!!!
