Yea,Papaperch's "No Name Lure" inspired my take for crappies.Especially since all the jigheads or swimbaits were 1/8 oz. or bigger.I wanted the flutter action to be good.I used a 1/32 oz. tube jig, painted it orange, tied on some pink marabou and a little flash.Second,I tied a pink teaser on a size 6 Eagle Claw Aberdeen gold hook with pink flash.I put a red bead on the hook before I started.Tied them togetjher with 10 lb. Power Pro braid.

Had to add a grey one to the mix. When we head back home with the new Mercury 90 hp on the boat next weekend,we are taking it out to Raystown to try the boat out, they have some monster crappies up there.Going to see how my knots hold out before I make any more.

Latest update on the real no-name. Talked to Tara on the phone as I had ordered on website. But no one had claimed the payment.
Evidently the site was just a few days away from being fully operational.

Super friendly and knows what she is talking about on the no-name. Hopefully her and her family make this the success it was in the past.

Anyway my five no-names are on the way to a loving home. Told Tara I almost cried whenever I lost one back in the 50's and 60's.
Back then the lure brought a lofty price of 89 cents each. I was getting 1.00 a lawn for my thriving mowing business back then. Never lost one to a tree but can't tell you how many big bass broke me off.

If you have never used one of these.Do yourself a favor and order a few . After that the lure itself will do the convincing.
That the way John Fujita himself used to sell them. Demonstrate how effective they were. What a concept action instead of catch word and phrases.
