Beer can

Preparing for this year's summer camp with the kids (scouts), so I've been trying to come up with a dead simple, and dirt cheap bait for the kids.
I think I've managed, but it remains to see what the fish think.

Not sure if it's classified as a jig or not, anyway recipe in the picture below.
Using #6 hooks and a couple of lead pellets to add some weight.

Now I've just got to find some time to try them out.
Feeling very samaritan I've decided to provide the empty beer cans, which will mean some hard work drinking all that beer - I think I better make sure each kid can build at least a dozen baits each...

Those are awesome...I think they they need two dozen, each!
