Another Bass Jig I have been working on...The Wooley Booger....made with Buffalo Hair....after I combed the hair...it was an improvement...it looks more civilized.... :)....Hope to take this with me to Lake Granbury....and try out the new fishing dock.... :)

Nice jig... Have you been to Graham lately? They are supposed to have the fishin house there going again. And, it's good to see you posting again.

No..have not been to Graham lately....Where abouts is the Fishing House located...??......Good to be back... :icon14:

Cool looking jig! But ,from tying with buffalo hair, I don't believe it can be "civilized" ;it SHOULD maintain its hardcore WILD look!In fact, I tie mine so the buffalo hair is completely over the hook point -this yields a weedlessness without thwarting strikes, plus offers a good flowing (but wild!) appearance in water if tied long!

Looks good! A couple of ranchers here used to raise buff and they were pretty wooly in the winter. They have all different forms of hair depending on what part of the animal you get it from. Some looks like horse hair on crack!  :D
