So I'm going to give you all a peak at what I did for him.

1/16 oz ball head w/ collar. He said "smoke", this is what I came up with. I actually want to tie some more of these and try them below Keystone Dam for Stripers. Pretty good baitfish imitation.

1/16 oz Walleye Head, painted olive that I blended myself. I did a hackle collar to help it push some water. My buddy told me he likes "camo" colors. I'm thinking Smallmouth???? Maybe you gents from Smallie waters will give me their opinions?

Another "camo" jig. again, 1/16 oz Walleye Head, slightly different shade of custom-mixed olive pp. Rabbit zonker tail, cross-cut zonker for the body. Again, I'm thinking Smallmouth.

And something I tied up using the "Baitfish" new age chenille from CAT. Pearl White pp on the head. The tail seems a little big to me, but we'll let the fish decide. I can actually see this being a good color chenille for Shad in a month or two...

Out here...
Great baits, I would think too small for striper, but what do I know? Anyway, drop any of um in a nest of spawning crappie and its on...

I'd think that all would work for smallmouth bass. However, I suggest tying a few weighing 1/8 to 1/2 of an ounce in the future. One-sixteenth would be a little too light for my style of smallmouth bass fishing be it river or lake.

They are good-looking jigs certainly.
