Thanks to the remaining JJs, JungleJim for his Tail Gunner and JiggerJohn for the Boolie. I thought combining the two concepts into one BooGer might have max flash attractive merit. 1/4 shiny tin head, #2 nickel prop, #0 blade, Flashabou pearl tie.

What happened to JigginJoe?

They're gonna see and hear that baby! Very nice, neat job on tying, and should appeal to everything that swims!

Head is unpainted pure tin metal which shine is similar to chrome plate, tho not mirror smooth. The pic shows the shade/reflection "colors" distortion on the blades & head. Forgot, hook is a #1 32833. Sorry, no field testing till Spring when walleye & wiper hopefully come in close to shore as Lake McConaughy ice offs.

Hmm, thinking about Stump's kayak trolling, this concept might work with a slower sinking/running head design like a de-collared Cabela's Wobble Jig...with more weight/hook options.

The warm water bite is finally kicking in on Lake McConaughy, so finally got to field test the Booger with actual fish present yesterday late afternoon. Two wipers in the 4-5# class + two small cats & a walleye all in the 15" range made for an interesting few hours. Also a nuisance tail snagged carp which doesn't count for bite attraction.

In windy and overcast conditions the compact size and abundance of flash were apparently a good ticket. Slightly under 1/4 oz on 8# Power Pro seemed a good match for casting & handling. Rather tedious tie, but think this might be my go to for the mentioned species especially in low light situations.

Boolie for you, ole pal ! That's the ultimate way to stick to yer concepts, and be relentless in yer pursuit!! As figgered, the outstanding flash, vibration, and casting distance of the Booger is superb during late afternoon/evening hours on your big water coves, and will only get even more productive as Spring gets into full gear!! Thanks for sharing this amazing pattern and adding another outstanding dimension to Boolie fishin' !

Great job. That is an excellent looking bait and should cast a country mile. Bet the walleye and whites would love those here as well.

Again, credit due to the inventors of apple pie and ice cream - I just decided to eat em together.

The "Pearl" Flashabou really lights up in sunlight, predominantly green flash.

Add a 15# wiper yesterday to catches on the same jig. Luckily, upped the leader from 8# to 15# test for the rocky area, cuz when a chunky like this goes for the rocks there no stopping em on light gear. And it did.
