Very nice set of jigs that anyone would be proud to have in their tackle box to use.

Been meaning to ask you about the leather curly tails you cut out and tie with, how well have they been working for you. Been thinking about cutting out some for use on a smaller tye. (big problems when I start thinking!!)

Nice work! Like the "two tone" black jigs. The way you layered those almost gives the impression of a pseudo-trailer but without any of the bulk. Should work well for you.

The majority of my ties work best for active fish. Those jigs that I've tied with lightweight suede do ripple at very slow retrieve speeds. I shoot for working with 4-ounce leathers or less in that case. An ounce of leather = 1/64 of an inch in thickness.

Thank you. I laid the red down behind the collars a distance between 1/8 to 1/4 of an inch. I designed these based on information I once read in a book about what a fish might be seeing. Smile
