Excellent work, Stump!!!! Might be good for bedding bluegills too. Plop one in the middle of a bed and see what happens!

RE: Standup Shrimp jig
A very Interesting Tie! Great work!! I was considering ordering some Ant jigs and some Ladybug jigs from Hagen's and was thinking of ways I could tie em. A pattern like this would work with those.

Like em. Nice and clean ties. Do they sit upright on the bottom in water?

The weight of the jig being at the bottom and the material falling through the water should keep them up-right when they land. I plan to work these very slowly. They should disturb the bottom if worked right and draw attention. Will be interesting to fish them. We have had a lot of rain here from the storm working up the coast, maybe I'll get the chance to try them next week. I will make a report ![]() Thanks guys for the comments. I know this jig is way out of the box but that is what we are after most of the time ![]()
