RE: My Warm Winter Project
Ok,started getting special ordered parts coming in.First,I ended up getting a laminated stock. It's was too cheap to end up trying to make the other one work out to my liking.I'll post better pics later when I get the action to fit a little better. The only place there was anything to be adjusted was the trigger gaurd front tang.Time to get the dremmel out.

Thanks !I have turned into a Mauser 98 Specialist in the last couple of months.I was amazed when I took the stock out of the box and saw it.Then when I dropped in the action it was a perfect fit,all for $115.00 to my door.I pick up my new barrel tomorrow.Watch out, lol.Wait until you see it finished with all the goodies that I've aquired.

Beautiful grain on that stock! I have 2 older-than-me .22's that i would like to re-furb someday. One fires (dead on) and the other i'm too skeerd to shoot. Rolleyes

Oh come on - at 150-200yds. you should be able to hit a pop can with open sights. Tongue Throw some fruit out by that salt!
