It measures about 5 inches long. Tail is tipped with black-colored Darice Craft Fur. Body is Bernat Disco Eyelash Yarn palmered over the bungee cord rubber strip that is tied onto the hook shank.

Jig head is a 1/8-ounce ball head with a #2 bronze Aberdeen hook. The head is painted with matte black Harbor Freight powder.

I have a cedar plug hook 6'' long . You could go wild with that thing . Don't even have to have any weight behind it. When you got tired of fishing with it could consider hauling square bailed hay. Have you fished one of yet. 2.00 to a hole in a doughnut you can get a bass on them.

A bass would have to kill that - JUST to kill it! Very cool.

Also like the matte head. Interesting look. I have some matte NP i got recently, i like they way it looks but haven't had a chance to fish with it to see how durable it would be w/out a top coat that would make it shiney.

Thank you for your comments Guys. Smile

Do wish that I could show a better picture. I have to color adjust my image when shooting this jig against a white background. The jig then looks washed out. Undecided

I designed this jig to emulate a fly called a Mardi Gras Bead Snake. Wish that I understood how to furl eyelash yarn. Huh May have to go hunting for YouTube videos on how to furl it. Wink

That's cool, where's the hook? It's very well hidden that's for sure. It look's like it would have excellent movement in the water.

JJ1,

Thanks for your comment. Smile This yarn moves pretty well in the water. Icon14

And...the hook is there. Wink The yarn won't get in the way of a hookset like silicone might with the small #2 hook. Had I a 1/8-ounce head with a larger hook, I'd have used it. Jig
