Cadence CR5 Spinning Rod
Needed a replacement big wiper rod after my Shimano Clarus 6' medium one piece broke on a rock fall, and was going to pull the plug on spending over $100 for a St. Croix Premier but wile browsing saw this on Amazon.
https://www.amazon.com/Cadence-Fishing-S...r=8-3&th=1

With free shipping + discount coupon couldn't resist so ordered one which was delivered quickly on time in a sturdy cardboard tube  + outer box.  Felt good in hand - light and snappy with exceptional for the price point 6 SIC guides + tip top.  Next day field test got some decent tuggers which were controlled better than current go to 5'3" light Fenwick HMG.  Day after that a 25# flathead in fast current obliged which definitely passed the holding power strength test.

Bought another one soon thereafter as a backup since ALL my rods eventually break considering my rock crawling preference.  Altho I won't field test it gave it a serious unloaded dry fire buggy whipping test that should snap any defective weak spots.

Cadence also has an upscale CR7 model for a reasonable 25 bucks more but for now what I got feels just right.  The company claims they can offer high value for the price by selling direct online with no dealers.

I’ve heard some good things about Cadence. The rod I felt briefly felt good but I didn’t fish with it. Let us know how it goes. I’ve been tempted as well by them.

They ain't Fujiis, thats fer shur, since a set of Fujii SICs cost more than the Cadence rod.  Still, very satisfied with performance - few hours ago got a second wiper of a lifetime crowding 20# which was landed in 5 minutes, compared to half n hour on my Fenwick 5'3" L outfit.  Even ruff texture 10# Sufix 832 braid flows smoothly thru the Cadence guides.

A size 25 or 30 Fuji Titanium SIC costs more than a Cadence rod
